My bodybuilding journey began when I was 12 years old. Coming from a family of 16 children, I learned quickly that I had to be persistent for the things that I wanted in life. I remember watching my dad work out with old cement weights and I couldn't wait to get my hands on those weights too.

From the minute I held those cement weights, I realized that this was exactly what I needed to deal with the stress and demons of my childhood. I was raised as a Jehovah Witness and that made it tough for me to excel in sports because I wasn't allowed to participate in after school activities. As part of the religion and my parent's beliefs, my free time after school consisted of going door to door and talking to people about my religion. I knew that I had potential to be a great athlete, but my circumstances and upbringing had other plans for me.

Moving on to the present….I now know who I am as a man, so let me introduce you to Wendell Floyd. I am a man of faith, a husband, a father, a personal trainer, a business owner, and to the fans of bodybuilding, I will make a commitment to this sport and will represent it with the utmost respect. Let me say in closing, that I am so proud to be a part of the brother and sisterhood of professional athletes in the IFBB.
